Address by N. G. Michaloliakos: NO to the Memorandums, NO to Illegal Immigration (VIDEO)

The Leader of the Popular Association - Golden Dawn, Nikolaos G. Michaloliakos made the following address in view of the upcoming elections:

“Greek men, Greek women, as you are all aware the country by choice of the Prime Minister is heading to elections. Golden Dawn will participate in these elections and her slogan will be: ‘No to the Memorandums – No to illegal immigration – A return to National production and self-sufficiency – No to the extortion by the international loan sharks!’

We all watched the Prime Minister’s address, where he announced the resignation of his government and announced elections. And we truly felt as if we were back in January of 2015, during the campaign period. We heard the Prime Minister who just a week ago passed the toughest of the three Memorandums, say that he will abolish the Memorandums. We also heard that he would strike at collusion. As if this man wasn’t governing for seven whole months and nothing happened. 

Then we heard the President of New Democracy, who in a fierce manner attacked the country’s Prime Minister, Mr. Tsipras, denouncing SYRIZA, the same SYRIZA whose position on the Memorandum he himself and his MPs voted in favor of a week earlier. It’s if we’re living in Bizarro land.

On the other side, there are some shortsighted people that only now realized that SYRIZA would sign a Memorandum and therefore dissociated themselves. At this point let me say that Golden Dawn at the last two electoral contests was the third party and therefore should have been awarded the mandate to form a government. However, as you are aware a parliamentary group has been created, which is larger than Golden Dawn’s, and therefore on paper a different party is third. This is legal, but it’s not ethical. 
Since we participated in the elections, and we finished as the third party.

Greek men and woman, Golden Dawn will fight against the nation-killing Memorandums with consistency. Additionally, it will be emphasized in all directions that currently there is a problem greater than the Memorandums. The problem of illegal immigration. In the islands of the eastern Aegean there is a literal invasion occurring and there has been no answer from the Greek State, which has left our border citizens at the mercy of the alien invaders. Instead, sporadic actions in the name of some pseudo-humanitarianism are carried out, which don’t offer a solution to the problem. Golden Dawn has the solution: The protection of our boarders by the Armed Forces, both sea and land. This is the only way to address the problem. And as far as it concerns those that are truly refugees, they should to be contained as per the UN outside residential areas.

Greek men and women, the elections ahead will be critical. With your vote you will decide the future of the Greek People. Give Golden Dawn the strength. Make Golden Dawn even stronger so there can be solutions to the country’s major problems, to the financial impasse, which can only be solved with policies on national production and self-sufficiency, and not with loans which enslave future generations of Greeks to the loan sharks. 

Give Golden Dawn strength so there can be a solution to the problem of illegal immigration. We didn’t cause those wars. We didn’t create all these refugees. Greece can’t handle any more illegal immigrants.”
