'The Golden Dawn's MEP, Lampros Fountoulis made an intervention during the European parliament in Strasbourg, in the discussion on the ongoing negotiations on the revision of the economic adjustment program for Greece. In it, he made it clear to the rest of our supposed partners that the Memoranda have destroyed the Greek people and then he proved with evidence that in any country the austerity measures have not had an increase in living standards or even a reduction of public debt. Finally, he clarified that the position of the Golden Dawn is that the Commission's handling leads to the economic death our Fatherland.
Following is the full text of the intervention:
Once again we are spectators in the same theatre of absurd. The situation we experience in the European Union is unbelievable; although such an indifference towards the people and misery we have never lived so far.
European leaders, who are tied behind the chariot of Germany, and their docile instrument the government of SY.RIZ.A. - AN.EL., destroyed the last strongholds of Greece. They trampled all their promises to the people, betraying their homeland and destroying the country, handing him along to the future generations to the genocide lenders of IMF and especially to our "allies and partners, friends."
Getting the people poor, dissolving all social classes, trade, public health and everything else concerns the function and the existence of a state!
The memorandum loans did not save Greece, but European banks by transferring their losses to the Member States and those to the Greek taxpayers.
In Greek budget reached less than 5% of the loans amounting to 220 billion euros, which were given for the salvation of Greece in the first five years of Memoranda of Understanding, while the rest went to the rescue of European banks, according to the research published in the German economic newspaper Handel blatt.
In all countries you imposed this supposedly salvation, their debt doubled - as a percentage of GDP.
In fact the Commission does not make statements about the state of negotiations of the Greek support program, but it simply composes the chronicle of a death foretold.'
