The General Secretary of the Popular Association appeared as a guest on the show “On the press” on Contra Channel, where he commented on the current events.

 

First, he referred to the exclusion of Golden Dawn from the private stations and the attempted “preventive censorship” by the ERT channel, noting that he expects a decisive intervention of the NCRTV on the issue.

 

N. G. Michaloliakos noted that the percentages of Golden Dawn continue to record upward trends and the party has won many former leftist voters because of its clear anti-capitalist positions.

 

Regarding the presence of Golden Dawn in Perama, he said that it was peaceful and supportive of Greek parents who are concerned about the safety and health of their children. It is not a coincidence that there were mass transfer requests from the parents because of the authoritarian government's decision to send the children of illegal immigrants there.

 

The government has failed miserably in the management of the illegal immigrant issue, since people die in the “hot spots” while the “solidarity” NGOs continue to drain funds.

 

The illegal immigrants cannot in any case be integrated in the Greek society, as was demonstrated by the young Albanians who formed the eagle of “Great Albania” sign, while wearing the uniform of the Greek Soldier.

 

Concerning the bankrupt parties of New Democracy and PASOK, he noted that the vote doesn’t legitimize them not to return what they owe to the Greek people.

 

He defended the actions of the American President Trump, stating that the supreme law is the salvation of the Fatherland and that Greece should do the same for our protection against the Islamic terrorism, even if some “human rights” are oppressed.

 

He repeated that the Memoranda are dead ends, but the members of SYRIZA are willing to sign anything in order to remain in power.

 

Concerning the president of the Jewish World Congress, Lauder, he wondered what right does he have to call the Greeks to join forces against Golden Dawn, the third political power in the country.

 

Finally, he stressed that the Nationalist Movement is renewed. It’s getting stronger and it’s enriched with new members, but keeps its doors closed to those who have served the corrupted political system.
