Μακεδονία Γη Ελληνική! Οι ευρωβουλευτές της Χρυσής Αυγής απαντούν στους παραχαράκτες της Ιστορίας και στους όψιμους “Μακεδονομάχους”
The People's Association-Golden Dawn from the first day of its presence in the European Parliament planned, organized and carried out specific initiatives, activities, interventions and events for the name issue of Skopje and the emergence of real ambitions of Skopje. Our MEPs imposed on the official representatives of NATO and European institutions, what the ''politicians-legends'' of the systemic parties have failed so many years, that they be addressed to Skopje with their real name.

Below is the response of the MEPs of the Golden Dawn to the Croat MEP Petir on her attempt to create an informal group called "Friends of Macedonia":

Dear Ms Petir,

I am very glad and satisfied that you wish to create within the European Parliament an informal group called “friends of Macedonia”. Really, it is a fine idea to exchange our views and share our ideas about Macedonia. I see an excellent opportunity to review the history of Macedonia, its language and culture origin and to discuss about the current status, as fYROM builds fences alongside its borders to prevent immigrants (legal and illegal) from entering the country.

But, as far as I know, Hellas with its northern geographical region Macedonia is already a Member State of the European Union and the Hellenic Minister of Foreign Affairs, is Mr. Kotzias, not Mr Popofski. I assume that you want to make an informal group with friends of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (fYROM). I can understand your misunderstanding. This is a common mistake a lot of people make. Even officials of the EU make the same terrible mistake!!

It will be wiser if you rename the group otherwise there might be quite a few people who will participate seeking for Macedonia but they will eventually find out, that it's not Macedonia but fYROM.
