Interview to Dimitris Giannakopoulos of "Parapolitika"

 

“The immigrants in Greece are way more than 62.000. Even the government does not know the exact number. Also, their profile is less that of a refugee, yet more of the illegal immigrant”. The Secretary General of Golden Dawn, Nikos Michaloliakos, has no doubt that this situation constitutes a dead-end and the current solutions that have been applied are completely ineffective. “This situation will turn even worse. Europe has abandoned us, by not applying even the basic parts of the agreement of March. On the other hand, Turkey has reduced the migration flows in our country, though, these migration flows continue to exist in any case.” 

 

The reactions of the habitants in Oreokastro and Filippiada are justified

 

The recent protests of residents and associations in Oreokastro and Filippiada regarding their living conditions along with the throngs of immigrants revealed the cultural chasm-that is historically proved to be insuperable- towards the uniformity of people with completely different characteristics among them. “This hiatus is so crucial, that a violent transmission and establishment of immigrants in our land will only lead to problems of adjustment. And it would potentially modify certain aspects of our own civilization, such as our National, Cultural and Religious identity. Through a suspicious process of abasement of the standards of living and education for our children, which we provide with numerous privations.” No one of the responsible from the part of the government was willing to publicly response to this statement of the parents’ association in Filippiada.

 

Mr. Michaloliakos states that: “The people who protest about the obvious necessities are not members of Golden Dawn. Their disaffection is completely justified and no one of these supposedly humanitarians and so called anti-racists, in the name of a false solidarity, is entitled to transform the structure of the local communities, the daily life and, finally, the public health. Everyone hide the fact that since the entrapment of the immigrants in Greece, about a year ago, a considerable rise of contagious diseases, like hepatitis, malaria and tuberculosis has been detected.” He also indicates that: “Golden Dawn expresses the will of the Greek People to end this inacceptable and barbaric situation. Besides, the violent incidents in the camps are multiplied, day by day. At “hot spots’ in Chios, Lesbos, Athens and in Northern Greece the conflicts among the immigrants-and the murders during the last months-have been encountered repressively by the police, resulting to the transmission of thousand residents outside of these camps, in order to be saved.

“The government “according to the S.G. of Golden Dawn “reopened the camp in Amygdaleza and many other similar establishments. Even though she had solemnly shut them, now she inaugurates these camps! In the wrong way, of course. We support the building of such establishments, though outside the urban communities. Outside of the cities and residential areas. Everyone must understand that the criminality among these people is considerably increased. Crimes such as drug trafficking, prostitution and murderous attacks are constantly occurred among them, while in parallel, a sudden increase in petty theft and burglaries is detected in the areas where these “hot spots” are established.
