N.G. Michaloliakos’ declaration about the exclusion of Golden Dawn from the meetings on the Cyprus issue - Video
The Leader of Golden Dawn, Nikolaos G. Michaloliakos made the following statement regarding the exclusion of Golden Dawn from the Prime Minister’s meetings concerning the Cyprus issue:
“Golden Dawn deplores the exclusion of the third political party in the country from the meetings of all the political leaders for a major national issue such as Cyprus.
This action by the Prime Minister is deeply undemocratic and abolishes the rights of a large portion of the Greek People. The people of Golden Dawn are not second class citizens. They serve in the army, they pay taxes and, of course, they serve in the army wearing the honored uniform of the Greek soldier and not like the “solidarity” groups, by taking care of the illegal immigrants.
We will fight for our constitutional rights. We will demand to have a say in this important National issue. It is unacceptable to exclude the third political party in the country, and at the same time give voice to parties that have just surpassed a mere 3%, and which, according to recent polls, will not have a presence in the next parliament.
The National issues concern all Greeks. This racism against Golden Dawn shall not pass”.
