N.G. Michaloliakos: I call the Greek Parliament to lay wreath and raise the Greek Flag at Imia!

FROM THE SPEECH OF THE LEADER OF GOLDEN DAWN AT THE PARLIAMENT (WEDNESDAY 18 JANUARY 2015)

 

“I call the Greek parliament, a deputation from all the parties to go at Imia, lay a wreath and raise a Greek Flag.”

 

“Whoever thinks, prompted by the shouts, the lynching from the owners of the channels and from the party of the political parties that the MPs of Golden Dawn will stop standing by the side of people and their problems, is wrong!”

 

“I shall refer to the agricultural issue. I heard you talking a lot. But I never heard a word for the basic reasons that have led the Greek agricultural world to the current state. I heard no word for the ministers of PASOK who were imprisoned because of the “corns”. I heard no word for the subsidies for the growing of ornamental plants, whose expanse surpassed Greece, even Australia. I heard no word for the “green associations”, which sacked Greek people and the Greek farmer. I heard no word for the cotton, weighed along with the tractors, in order to gain subsidies. Not a word about all these! Not a word from PASOK, but also New Democracy!” 

 

The farmers are the soul of our Nation

 

“I arrive to the issue of the Order of the Day. Well, according to the recommendation of PASOK: “The Greek agriculture and livestock are in extremely difficult period. The disappointment is evident throughout the countryside.” Indeed, this disappointment is associated with this party. They also invoke that the farmers are pressed because of the tax burdens, the great increase of the insurance contribution, the cost of oil and electric energy, the increase in 24% at the VAT rate.

 

Yet, Miss Gennimata and Mr. Mitsotakis forgot to report that all these were decided and constituted the conditions of SYRIZA memorandum, which was voted by them all at 14th of August 2015, when Golden Dawn -that everyone aspires her exit from the Parliament but Greek People wants her into the Greek Parliament- said “no” to the antinational Memorandum. 

 

Two circulars of the ministry of Economics were recently published, regarding the insurance of the farmers, which literally lead to desperation the farmers that for us are the Soul of the Nation. The farmer is a patriot by nature, is a man who has his property, the grave of his ancestors, his Homeland by his side, who lives for his land, dies for his land, fights for his land. 

 

And this is why you aspire to destroy the farmers, being the loyal subordinates of the globalization. Thus, according to you, the ideal citizen is the resident of the urban centers, who crawls without homeland, without land and becomes the pray of the marxist and neoliberal ideologies. Well, against them all it is us, the Nationalists and we are determined to defend the Greek farmers…”

 

At the dilemma euro or Greece Golden Dawn has answered: Greece! 

 

“You bring from…China (!), potatoes from Egypt, apples from Chile and you literally lead to desperation the Greek producer, whom you ought to protect, being the government of Greeks, a Government voted by Greek People for the defense of the interests of the Greek Nation. 

 

However, there is no protection. Yet, there is no protection, because this is what you signed and is provided in the agreement of our entry of our country to EEC then, the European Union now, the European Economic Community…

 

In addition, another antinational act is the sanction and the embargo against Russia, which devastates the Greek farmers. You leave the Greek farmers undefended, following the orders of foreign centers of decisions. Contrary to all these, Golden Dawn resists and stands by the Greek farmers. 

 

Golden Dawn, contrary to all these antinational plans, which emerge according to the orders of memoranda, considers that only if the land gets sowed and there are new industries, the Greek economy will be reborn. 

 

Contrary to the measures that have been imposed by the forces adhered to memoranda of this land against the Greek farmers, we believe that the agricultural production must be subsided, with emphasis to the border areas and especially in Thrace and the islands of the Eastern Aegean. We also believe in the cancellation of the debts of the Greek farmers.  Only then there will be a boost to the Greek agricultural economy.

 

You say that the country will be devastated. For you, euro is a great god- mammon, so we have to sacrifice everything in his name. At the dilemma euro or Greece Golden Dawn has answered: Greece! 

 

It seems, however, that the die was cast and the first farmers of the Central Macedonia are prepared for dynamic mobilizations…I declare in the Greek Parliament that Golden Dawn will be by the side of Greek farmers, who are the last line of defense against the antinational policy of memoranda. She will stand by their side, not like some others who betrayed their fight.Golden Dawn will stand by Greek farmers with all her soul, because the farmers constitute the soul of the Nation.”

 

We do not accept the gray zones at Aegean

 

“We were confirmed when we saw at the International Conference of Geneva Anastasiadis sitting with a tag, where it were there were not the words: “President of the Republic of Cyprus”. You all consented with him for the dissolution of the sovereign state of Cyprus and her transformation to a federation. Yet, you must know that your plans shall not succeed. 

 

And it impresses me the fact that all the news programs of the big television stations and newspapers invoked that the entire political world of Greece consented. They forgot four words: “Except for Golden Dawn” or “except for Nikolaos Michaloliakos”. Are you so much afraid of these words? Are you afraid of reporting even our exclusion? 

 

Anastasiadis failed. This moment, he receives the outcry of almost the ensemble of Greek Cyprian People. And in this failure you were all supporters, except for us, Golden Dawn, that remained loyal to the national interests and said “no” to the plans of Anastasiadis for transforming a sovereign state into a federation. 

 

Right now not only the Government but also the Opposition invoke that the Aegean is Greek and they denounce Turks for doubting our sovereignty. In few days there are twenty years since the tragic, the great sacrifice of three brave officers of our Navy, on the islets of Imia. 

 

I call the Greek parliament-and this is a proposal of Golden Dawn- to send a delegation of MPs of all the political parties to lay a wreath and raise a Greek Flag. Only then we will accept that Imia are Greek. 

 

Otherwise, you follow a disastrous path of national treachery and the policy of gray zones. Golden Dawn does not believe in gray zones. She believes in a Greece belonging to Greeks. She believes in a new Greece, nationalist, emerging from you tragic failure and the disappointment that you brought to Greek People.”
