The General Secretary of Popular Association - Golden Dawn appeared as a guest at the central newscast of Kontra Channel, hosted by the journalist John Papagiannis.

 

Nicholas G. Michaloliakos initially commented on the exclusion of the third political power from the discussions on the Cyprus issue, deploring the Prime Minister Tsipras and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kotzias, for their support on Anastasiadis’ treacherous "solution" regarding a bizonal and bicommunal federation.

 

He stressed that only the Nationalist Movement of Cyprus, ELAM, maintains a strong patriotic stance, and estimated that the Cypriots will not allow this new betrayal to pass.

 

He noted that the SYRIZA government remains submissive towards the usurers and has demonstrated that it lacks the political will proceed into catharsis since the tax evasion lists still remain in the drawers.

 

He pointed out that with this memorandum policy no growth can ever be achieved. It is essential to reduce the tax rates and to provide incentives for businesses and professionals.

 

Finally, he clarified in the most categorical manner that there are no discussions, and there can be no collaboration with people who have supported the Memorandum.
