N. G. Michaloliakos: The Nationalists will take the lead in the new political landscape
02/10/2015 16:54
GOLDEN DAWN is here to stay, that is the title of a recent article of mine. The outcome of the elections of September 20, 2015 confirms this claim.
We just remind you: Elections for the Municipality of Athens in 2010, national elections of May 2012 and June 2012, European elections, municipal and regional elections of May 2014, national elections of January 2015 and indeed through the prison like in 2014, elections of September 2015 and GOLDEN DAWN instead of… disappear as “cyclical phenomenon” has become the third political power in the country.
So, the inane claims for cyclical phenomenon, for a blind vote of indignation and many other that are said and written should stop. Nationalism as a political ideology has always existed in Greece and now it is the time to be expressed and if they managed to stem its course with persecutions and political terrorism, they did not manage to bend it.
Particularly important is the fact, as it comes from the political surveys and after the last elections of September 2015, of the character of the vote in favor of GOLDEN DAWN. GOLDEN DAWN takes considerably higher percentage than its general percentage in the youth, while takes a very low percentage at the ages over 65 years. This clearly shows that our Movement is Greece that is coming!
Given also is the popular character of the vote to GOLDEN DAWN! Significantly higher percentages received our Movement in the popular areas and municipalities of both Athens B, Piraeus B and Thessaloniki B. On the contrary, extremely low is the percentage at the rich suburbs such as Panorama in Thessaloniki or Ekali in Attica. So, popular character has the vote to GOLDEN DAWN and this can be confirmed by the fact that it received the highest percentages from the farmers and the unemployed. GOLDEN DAWN is a pure popular Movement and this is shown in all political surveys.
In our country, a new political landscape has already began to form. The recent defeat of N.D. and the significant difference from SYRIZA, despite all the intentional or unintentional mistakes of the pollsters, undermines essentially the ongoing argument of New Democracy on the “lost vote”. In addition, two major problems for the future of the Greek Nation threaten our society. The policy of memoranda that will bring more poverty and the illegal immigration, for which there is no political will from the guilty political establishment to address it.
The days to come are ours, but hard work is needed, we need both the momentum of Achilles and the intelligence of Odysseus in order to become stronger.
Nothing comes by itself and nothing is given for free in this world. We have to earn it with our will, with our struggle.
