No to the Selling-Off of the Port! Large-scale Political Activism by the Piraeus Region- PHOTOS-VIDEO

On Tuesday, May 26th, 2015, large-scale political activism was carried out by the Piraeus Region at the Piraeus Port and many other central points of the city. Cause for this campaign was the privatization of PPA (Piraeus Port Authority), i.e. the selling-off of our historic harbor.
Piraeus was covered by thousands of flyers, and at the same time every Greek citizen was informed of our position on this issue, directly from the only voice of truth, once again breaking the conspiracy of silence by the Mass Media of Deception and the vicious political establishment.
With every passing day since January 25th, the new government has clearly demonstrates that they are continuing with the same traitorous policies as the previous. 
Golden Dawn denounces the catastrophic -for the Greek people- memorandum plans of the SYRIZA-ANEL government, and we will continue to fight in every legal way for National and Popular sovereignty.

NO TO THE PRIVATIZATION OF THE PIRAEUS PORT AUTHORITY – HANDS-OFF THE PORT!

From the Piraeus Port: NO TO THE SELLING-OFF OF THE PORT THE PORT BELONGS TO THE GREEKS   

Below are statements from comrade and Regional Councilor of Hellenic Dawn for Attica Pericles Moulianakis, on the privatization of the PPA (Piraeus Port Authority):

"Following the Memorandum government of New Democracy-PASOK, the privatization baton of the Country’s biggest port has been passes to the “anti-memorandum” government of SYRIZA-Independent Greeks. With the backing of everyone, from the so called Constitutional Arch, they are trying any way they can, to sell-off another profitable piece of the public wealth to the global usurers. Golden Dawn denounces their dirty designs and fully supports the nation’s interests and the Greek workers. We aren’t concerned and we aren’t bound by any memorandum promises or obligations. We do not tolerate under any circumstance for the people’s wealth to be put up for sale. We declare unequivocally that we will fight in every legal way for the privatization of the Piraeus Port Authority to not pass, and in this honorable struggle, we invite all the Greeks to stand by our side.
