Speech by Christos Pappas at Golden Dawn’s Youth Festival - Video
The full speech of the Golden Dawn's M.P. at party's Youth Festival:
"Leader,
Comrades,
Young men and women of Golden Dawn,
It’s a particular honor for me to address you today.
Today is a festival.
A Youth Festival.
A Spring Festival.
A festival for the new which is coming to tear down the rotten and unsound.
A festival of Nationalism.
We, the young men and women of Golden Dawn, have a guide. The guide which comes from the depths of history, the voice of the blood which guides us in thought and action. Our idea is guided by the immortal Greek soul. The ancient soul which lives within us, unintentionally hidden. We have the Laconic: “Αμμες δε γ’ εσόμεθα πολλώ κάρρονες”, that is, in modern Greek, we will become much better than you, we will surpass you.
You youths have it. You have the privilege and the challenge ahead of you at your feet, not just to appear worthy but to surpass them.
Since the early 80s, then in a small office in the center of Athens, on Zoodoxou Pigis Street, born thanks to our Leader, Nikolaos Michalolikakos was the modern Popular Nationalist Movement of Golden Dawn, we’ve recorded many victories to date.
Our Victory.
Your victory, you the young Golden-Dawners, was three years ago when all seemed lost, you remain loyal.
When some betrayed and became frightened, you remained loyal defenders of the Red and Black Flag with the Meandros.
It was a great victory, when you, but also the supporters of the Movement stood by our side, by the side of the Leader and Golden Dawn and in our political struggle kept our support at 7 percent. No one else, no other party, would have accomplished that.
All of us, comrades, young and old, have an additional advantage in the race for today and tomorrow.
We have flag bearers, we have comrades in the forefront of the struggle, we have comrades who will remain forever young no matter how many years may pass, who will be with us and from there up high and will set the example for us and sing along with us the hymn FORWARD ALWAYS FORWARD
Giorgos Fountoulis and Manolis Kapelonis.
I close, my dear ones, with these words, which where sung by old comrades, of the struggle for White Europe.
Hail, o Nation of Heroes,
Hail, o immortal Fatherland,
Your children were born again
With Faith and Ideals
The bravery of your warriors
Today shines in every heart
Youth,
Spring of Beauty
To the difficulties of life
Answer with the song.
For the war Tomorrow
For the glory of work,
For peace and the laurel,
Shame on those who deny the Fatherland.
Poets and artists
Bosses and workers
With Greek pride
We swear Faith
No one shall be poor
Everyone unfold the flags
For the Golden Dawn which is coming."
