The General Sectary of Golden Dawn, Nikolaos Michaloliakos, at the Committee of National Remembrance event for the warriors of Cyprus, made the following statement:
“Golden Dawn, on the 24th of July ever year, honors the memory of those who fell guarding Thermopylae in Cyprus during 1974, in a Cyprus which was betrayed. She also honors those stood tall and went to war to keep Cyprus Greek and honors the slogan “I DON’T FORGET” even today, forty-two years later.”
