The end of the era of… “fat cats” and the upcoming Greece - Article by N.G. Michaloliakos

-The storage of every civilian, when it is filled with gold, destroys that kind of system of government. Firstly, because they invent ways for expenses and they misinterpret the lows according to their interests and they offend them along with their wives.

Thousand years ago, living in the town, which is currently the capital of Greece, Plato wrote the above in his “Republic”. And he perfectly described all these that take place during the difficult times we live in. He described accurately the plutocratic oligarchy, audaciously called by some people as…democracy!

The end of the…ideals of the consuming society

This “democracy” was evident in all her moral unworthiness, during the conversation that took place in the Parliament, regarding the debts of the political parties and Medias, in the debate for the “interdependence”, which of course is not annihilated by SYRIZA and continues to govern the country for two years. 

The fact that is granted is that the “ideals” of the consuming society are not simply frayed, but they do also constitute the nightmare of the average Greek citizen, which is now lost without aspirations and objectives, sailing like a sad castaway in the sea of nothingness! The easy money, the easy wealth, constitute a utopia, an empty promise, and none of the political parties of the establishment can fill with a vision the blank space in the soul of Greeks. 

Concerning the left side, she had to govern in order to be proved as unworthy of the developments, to prove the fact that all of her resolutions the last hundred years were nothing but words in the wind, since without her material aspirations, she offers no dreams, no objectives, and no transgression of this sad reality. 

So, in a world constantly decomposing, which could be the future of a Nation with great history, but poor present and unworthy leaders? And there are not only the powerful people of this land that bring the degeneration, preach the mendacity and support the foreign governing, there is also the people, who is in a state of absolute apathy. 

In this harsh reality of globalization, which could be the fate of our Nation, since the hard core of this new world, completely overpowered by money, constitutes in fact a total denial of the Greek civilization? 

The exiles of History, the Ideologists are back! 

As everyone claims the globalization comes closer and while everything is allegedly planned in order for the world to succumb in a complete slavery, in the slavery of money, an irrational incident emerges (and the History is full of paradoxes) which shakes the whole global planning!

In the “Decline of the west” Oswald Spengler writes that “the private powers of the economy desire open routes for the obtainment of great funds, no legislation should obstruct their way”. Well, these open routes of money with Donald Trump at USA, in the country that constitutes the core of the globalization, these routes seem to close and to open the era of the economic nationalism! And while everything seemed lost and in the new world of globalization, the Nations and the Homelands finally awake from the lethargy of the tyranny of consuming. 

Well, all these occurred because these who hold the money in their hands led the people because of their greed in poverty and poverty led them to Ideals. And the exiles of History, the Ideologist return!

Those who planned the globalization, holding the money in their hands, seemed omnipotent, but the reality is different since the sole omnipotent is God! And these dreary and insignificant people will become the tragic intruders of History. Their Sisyphean “deed” will be repeated and they will be once again victims of their own haughtiness. 

The History is filled with “paradoxes” 

In this historical situation, where everything dramatically changes in his world, the Greek (?) state remains an inevitable followers, a “paper cock” according to Pericles Giannopoulos, reminding the words of the great persona of the Greek Nationalism, Ion Dragoumis: “A state that obstructs or distorts the national soul must be annihilated. If the state afflict the nation, it must necessarily change his formation or get vanished. The state that obstructs the physiology of the nation, is needless and harmful”.

The History is filled with paradoxes”, which cannot be analyzed by any liberal or marxist view, since thy emerge from the depths of time, through the Legends and the Archetypes. A similar “paradox” was the dynamic manifestation of the nationalistic movement in Greece, a movement that confronts the polemics of the dark mechanisms of the political establishment and yet they cannot obstruct this movement, they cannot annihilate its rise!

Living in the end of the era of the “fat cats”, the governors of the country are no longer able to promise anything in the faceless mob, they are no longer able to deceive him, so the era of Ideologists comes once again, who –beyond any rationality- are able to offer a vision, an Ideal, an honest fight and a Flag to those Greeks that aspire a free and strong Greece!
