Why Golden Dawn - The Nationalists and the Liberalism

Sooner or later, the elections shall come. In these elections everything shows that New Democracy will take the first place. Evidently, N.D. is moving towards the center and to members of the left wing, but will not neglect canvassing in the national and patriotic side. So, at a point of political parties, there will be again some “destructors of communism”, who will demand the vote of the nationalists and the patriots in order to chase away the…left side!
It is about a usual tactical, not original at all. Is it however convincing? Of course it is not for all those owing judgement, for all those who listen in every circumstance to the representatives of N.D. praising the left side and claiming that they…respect her struggles! In any case N.D. is a liberal party and liberalism has nothing and can have nothing to do with Nationalism.
The absolute domination of the person, the desire for profit through the ruthless laws of the production and the consummation, this is liberalism. While the Homeland, the Nation and the History are dead words in the col-blooded language of profit. Liberalism is a speculation, while the profits need silence, need consumers but not patriots neither Nationalists. According to the laws of the market, the National Heroes and the Legends are useless ruins of a world that is gone.

The liberalists see the world through the prism of money, while we, the Nationalists, through the rough and ruthless judgement of History and this why we are not liberalists and the liberalists are not Nationalists. Contrary to the Nationalists, the “Flag-wavers” are great supporters of liberalism…
The “Flag-wavers” wave the flag between many quotation marks. They are like the “progressives” who allegedly fight for the rights of people. The “Flag-wavers” are not a political party, they are a profession. The “flag-wavers” were and always are with the “governance”, whoever this might be, they jealously anticipate the forces, whoever these may be. The “flag-wavers” who do not wave the flag but only claim to wave the flag in order to be in good term with the power, are nothing else that the sad continuation of the slaves in Ottoman Occupation.
We shall not refer in this article to the leftists, the “progressives” who constitute the other side of the coin and who hate and fight everything national. We shall talk regarding the “flag-wavers”.
Regarding the “flag-wavers”, who were completely satisfied with the words of N.D. during 1974 “Cyprus lies away”. According to the “flag-wavers” everything outside of their close personal profit lies far away, whether this is Cyprus, or Smyrna or Northern Epirus. In the 50s they applauded Karamanlis because he ended, in his own way, the…Cyprus issue and he “liberated us” as they were claiming from a gangrene. They were the same who considered Washington as their loving mother, who would save them from all the dangers, as evenly the “progressives” were turned with hope, unbowed faith and a spirit of yieldingness towards mother Moscow. Both “flag-wavers” and “progressives” anticipate for a power outside of Greece.
The “Flag-wavers”, the communism and the Turks
For the “flag-wavers” the communism has been once the ultimate evil, were the anti-Greeks, the pest. During the last years, though, they are one more convenient political ally, scrounging the votes from PASOK and now from SYRIZA… Because the thing that interest first and foremost the “flag-wavers” is the power and the contacts with people in power. In order to be settle, to settle their children and the children of their children! In order to be beneficed by the “governance” with which they should always be in good terms with!
For the “flag-wavers” of 50s and 60s even Turks were good because they were not…communists! Because back then the “governance” was with NATO and Turkey belonged there. Everything was good then…They never heard the screams of Greeks who were extirpated from Constantinople while those who protested in Cyprus might have been…communists! Besides, the prime minister of the “flag-wavers” was the one who ordered to shoot the protestors, when their march was directed to the English embassy, the day that our “allies” hanged Karaolis and Dimitriou. And they shot and killed three brave Greek men. Yet, they were never heroes and no one ever wrote then a song.
When PASOK was in governance, the “flag-wavers” considered the action of Simitis and Andreas Papandreou as a national treachery. The issue of Macedonia was a national treachery, the incident at Imia a national treachery, the dances of G. Papandreou with his friend Ismael Cem a national treachery. Indeed, they were right. But how much right have they been, when they forgot all these the moment they became the government?

Which was the difference between the governance of N.D. towards Turkey and the governance of Simitis and the current governance of SYRIZA? The gray zones at Aegean remained gray, the violation continued, the oil of Aegean was never reclaimed and our territorial sea was not expended in twelve miles! Well, during that time the “flag-wavers” said no word, since they were in governance…
The “flag-wavers” have also no problem with “globalization”, because “globalization” does not obstruct anyone from taking care of himself. The opposite. Each and every person can pass through the crucible of globalization, but not the people as Nations, as Races, as Homelands. So, they have no objection if their neighbor Ahmet, Ali or Mugubu…In fact, if they work for them with low payments and without stamps, then the “flag-wavers” are also anti-racists and enemies of the…evil “racists” who do not want illegal immigrants in Greece.
These are the “flag-wavers” who are the one side of the coin. The other side are the “progressive”. In the space where the “flag-wavers” and the “progressives” come to an end, there are the Nationalists!
