The Leader of Golden Dawn N.G. Michaloliakos on the developments concerning the Cyprus issue - Video

The Secretary General of People’s Association-Golden Dawn made a telephone intervention at the News Program of Extra TV Cyprus.

 

N. G. Michaloliakos commented firstly on the future of the negotiations concerning the Cyprus issue, by reminding the words of the late president Tassos Papadopoulos: “I received a state and I shall not deliver a community”. 

 

He noted the noxious disposition of the turks, who deny to withdraw their occupation troops, as well as the position of UNO (United Nations Organisation) that does not applicate the resolutions of the Security Council, according to which the Cyprus issue is a case of invasion and occupation. 

 

He stressed that thankfully, at this stage, there is no “solution”, given the fact that it would be another Annan-plan, leading to the complete turkification of Cyprus.

 

Regarding the decision of Nikos Anastasiadis to not meet the Leader of the third political force in Greece, N. Michaloliakos stated that Anastasiadis has chosen to speak with the political descendants of those who betrayed the Fight of EOKA, but not with the Greek Nationalists. 

 

He repeated that the solution of the Bi-zonal Bi-communal Federation constitutes in fact a division and that Turkey has no place in Europe. He also added that the President of Cyprus should not speak directly with Akıncı, but rather send a minor official for the negotiations. 

 

Finally, the Leader of Golden Dawn made it clear that the united Greece-Cyprus defense doctrine must be materialized as well as the union of Cyprus with mother Greece.
