The Minister of Finance admits to Golden Dawn MP: The government signs agreements detrimental to the national interests! - Video

05/12/2016 18:51

The MP of Athens B’ Mrs. Helen Zaroulia, during the discussion about the current question to the Minister of Finance, concerning the CETA agreement, originally stated that this timely question was filed two months ago, but the government has avoided to give an answer.

Our Comrade noted that the former minister Mr. Stathakis has already signed this detrimental national agreement in the absence of the Greek people, since the ratification of the agreement was not confirmed by the Greek Parliament.

She also presented many examples where national governments were forced to pay exorbitant fines after the claims of multinational companies, as a result of these harmful agreements.

The minister responsible Mr. Papadimitriou, cynically admitted that such agreements are likely to cause damage to the national interests, but the government is forced to sign them in order not to be blocked!

Our Comrade Mrs. Zaroulia stressed out the minister, Mr Papadimitriou’s admittance, coming directly from the IMF, that the government is willing to sacrifice the domestic interests!

Closing, Ms. Zaroulia stressed that fortunately, Trump’s election will overturn all these damaging agreements, and that it is a disgrace to have government ministers that do not even speak Greek!
