The MPs of Golden Dawn honored the Assumption in Sumela Monastery

A unit of Golden Dawn, consisted from the MP elected in Pella, Ioannis Sahinidis and the MP elected in Boeotia, Evaggelos Karakostas, participated in the festive glorification that takes place each year at the Sumela Monastery, in the mount Vermio.

In this sacred symbol for the Pontian Hellenism, our Comrades were warmly welcomed by the Christians, who encouraged them to continue the National Fight, without compromises.
 
 
With the ending of the divine service and the memorial for the hundreds of thousands of victims of the Pontian Hellenism, slaughtered by the hordes of Kemal, Comrade Sahinidis made the following statement at the public broadcasting camera:
 

“Many happy returns to all of Hellenism, many happy returns to Pontian Hellenism. Today is one of the greatest days of our Orthodoxy, we honor the Assumption of our Virgin Mary.

 

The Greek People, unfortunately, in this crisis which they’re going through, are also going through a crisis of values. We mustn’t forget that some of those who come out today to make statements, have voted for the mosque and ask for the separation of the State from the church.

 

Golden Dawn will stand next to the Greeks and will stand next to Orthodoxy. Many happy returns.”
