Once again I shall answer honestly. GOLDEN DAWN, as she has officially declared in the Supreme Court does not intend to a violent reverse of the political regime, because she unshakably believes that the violent reverse of the political regime will not solve the problems of our Nation, which is found in a moral, cultural, political and secondarily economic dead end.
The country needs a revolution of souls, a conspiracy of consciousness, which shall raise the country once again proud, independent and truly free from the slaveries of any kind. Ideological slaveries, slaveries from foreign powers, moral slaveries, cultural slaveries. We need a revolution as the one described in the excerpt of the book “New Spirit” of Periklis Giannopoulos, which is in the beginning of this text.
“We fight for a lot more than being a party among the other political parties”
There are articles who invoke that GOLDEN DAWN could be turned into a political party like all the rest, which have led our Country to the current hideous situation! It is about mendacities that are published in newspapers and broadcasted in television station with not a trace of truth.
At May of 2012, GOLDEN DAWN was able to gain the trust of thousands hundreds of Greeks whom she honorably represents. Back then, at October of 2012, I wrote a prologue for the forth publish of my book “FOR A GREAT GREECE IN A FREE EUROPE”. In this text of October I made clear that: “the constantly escalated economic crisis, which for us is firstly a moral and political crisis, is the mark of the end of an entire world, of the old political world. The policy of Memoranda is not the only dead end. There are also the old political parties, which led to this world.”
Five years have passed, yet I do not change a single word of my writings. Therefore, how could GOLDEN DAWN cooperate with the powers of the old political parties, when she has declared that they are considered completely guilty for the current situation of our Homeland? The malign would answer: between 2012 and 201 many thing could happen…Well, they better know that the polemics of an entire system, whose top moment was the political conspiracy against us, will not suddenly make us change our Principles in order to be…saved!
In any case, whoever made the efforts to know the beliefs of GOLDEN DAWN, would had no doubts that GOLDEN DAWN could never become part of this corrupt political establishment. We fight for a lot more than being a party among the other political parties. We want and we aspire the rebirth of Hellenism, and this cannot happen with dirty “contracts” and with collaborations with those who are guilty for the misfortune of an entire people.
Against “homo economicus”
GOLDEN DAWN is an Ideological and political movement. As an Ideological Movement we are against the notorious “enlightenment” that gave birth to the Capitalism and the Marxism and we declare the return to the Tradition. For us “homo economicus”, even though we live in the era of economy, is an antihuman model, a falsification of the human nature and we deny the fact that the econmy is our fate, a fate to which we must submit.
On the other hand, we know very well the superficial contrast of marxism, the capitalism, which is in fact another materialistic perception of life. The objectives of these two ideologies are the same and they are related with the complete inversion of the natural order of things!
When bolshevism fell apart like a paper tower, a great intellectual, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, who had suffered in the prison of Siberia and had enjoyed the “freedom” of communism, watching the violent transformation of Russia to a capitalistic society, have made an extremely important statement: “Let us not let the gain turn into a social scourge”.
The contrast of GOLDEN DAWN with all the other political parties, under the dominance of the economy in every aspect of the public life, in personal and collective level, is not our only difference. Contrary to all those, we perceive History as a Legend and not as a rational analysis. We estimate that Herodotus is closer to truth that Thucydides, because the unseen forces of this world write in the end the History and not the rationality which is unable to interpret the unexpected facts that changes the destiny of the people, from one moment to another!
The end of an era
So, they try in vain to categorize GOLDEN DAWN according to the ordinary criteria of the political life of this country. And the greatest proof against all those invoke that GOLDEN DAWN makes various cohabitations, are all those who supported and still do GOLDEN DAWN in her march all these years. These are the laic forces, a fact proved by the rates of our movement in working class areas and in the agricultural regions, and also our high rates in the youth, the unemployed, but also to creative people and those who have the honor to wear the Military Uniform.
It is obvious that we live the end of an era, not only in a national, but in a global level. The crisis of capitalism is constantly escalated, while marxism has been historically bankrupted. The era that they want to bring, the era of globalization, will be another attempt of the human to play God, an attempt that will be tragically failed.
And through this tragedy, we watch the dawn of a new world. GOLDEN DAWN represent this new world, which is authentically old and arrives through thousands of years of History. This is the reason that GOLDEN DAWN continues proud and uncompromised her lonely route, having by her side more and more Greeks.
