Tsipras and Mitsotakis have adopted a common line against Nationalism-Article of N.G. Michaloliakos

The conference of the leaders of the countries of the European Union took place few days ago, in order to analyze the issue of the illegal immigrants and the refugees. Off course, they did not reached to a solution, nor did they offer any commitment towards the Greek problem, who gradually aggravates. In this conference, the prime minister of our country was also present, who declared, regarding the “refugee problem”, in Vienna:

“There were voices completely opposed with the current climate, that Europe has to raise walls and fences…If we do not comply to our promises, as Europe, then we will once again confront crucial dead-ends. And then, the fear of the rise of the Nationalism, of the far right movement and of xenophobia, will become a realistic fear which will lead Europe to dead-end. Today I rung the alarm bell.”

It seems that Alexis Tsipras has not yet realized that the current climate in Europe consists exactly in the raising of walls and fences. Only in Greece occurs the chaotic situation with the million euro subsidies to NGOs!

The fear of the rise of Nationalism is a dead-end, not only for Tsipras, but also for Kyriakos Mitsotakis!

There lies the reason why the chairman of N.D. condemned the actions of residents of certain regions in our territory who react against the plans of the government, declaring that: “There is no place for racism and xenophobia in New Democracy”. Besides, he has already stated in his party conference that the main adversary of his party is nationalism. Yet, there is another thing that connects Tsipras and Mitsotakis in this domain and is named GOLDEN DAWN!

Loans of Christos Kalogritsas: “he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone”

Even though the -according to their perspective- “refuge problem” unites them, there is another topic that has created a major conflict between SYRIZA and ND and it relates to the television licenses. In the news coverage, the main topic is the case regarding the loans of the contractor of public works Christos Kalogritsas, who was evidently one of the four who received a television license in the known contest, then was excluded from the contest and afterwards, his position has been taken by Ivan Savvidis.

As it became well known, the contractor Kalogritsas had been granted with 127, 6 million euros from Attica Bank, where he received 77, 6 million when SYRIZA became the government, meaning since 2015. During the period between 2011 and 2014, in the governance of Samaras and Venizelos, Chr. Kalogritsas and the associated companies were granted with the total amount of 50 million euros.

So, N.D. accuses SYRIZA of the lending of 77 million euros from Attica Bank to Kalogritsas, without liable guarantee. The evidence, however, of the Bank of Greece indicate that during the governance of ND and PASOK he received 50 million euros! So, if Kalogritsas had received 50 million instead of 77 million, then there would be no problem?

With simple words, the sinful practice of uncontrollable loans continues to exist in the times of SYRIZA, while ND has no moral right to blame the government, since this practice was evenly evident during her governance.

The governments may fall, yet the corruption remains, as we noted in an article of our newspaper in the past.
