Victory for the Greek Nationalists in Cyprus: E.LA.M. gained parliamentary seats in the Elections

According to the final results of the Parliamentary Elections in Cyprus, National Popular Front (E.LA.M.) obtains 3,7% and takes two seats in the parliament entering the Parliament for the first time.
The ELAM President Christos Christou has pledged that the party will meet its commitments to the citizens.
The result was welcomed with fireworks and loud applause at the party headquarters on Sunday night where lots of followers gathered.
Christou said that people trusted the National Popular Front and supported them during a difficult campaign. He said that the party will struggle to tackle the problems people are faced with, namely high unemployment and the continuing Turkish occupation of the island's northern part.
He also said that the party will give real solutions to these problems.
