When the books of History are modified - Article by Golden Dawn Leader N.G. Michaloliakos
“Through our history eradiate three thousand years,
Upstanding! And now he emerged from his palace
In the place where the evil sorcery is long gone
and the Phoenix is reborn from his own ashes…”
Mistral, “Inne Gregau”-Translation: Kostis Palamas
The great and rigorous philhellene Frédéric Mistral, was the Nobel Prize laureate of 1904, who wrote the “Hymne pour la Grèce”, whom Kostis Palamas nobly translated and wrote the lyrics, presented in the beginning of this text. Well, the suzerains of our Homeland want to erase this “radiance of the thousand years of our History”. Because when People have consciousness of their glorious past, then they are motivated but also obliged to become better, and these suzerains do not wish that for Hellenism.
A…refused statement
During 1977, the following statement of the slaughterer of our Cyprus Henry Kissinger became known, even though shortly after this politician refused that he ever made this comment: “Greek people are hardly ruled, so we have to strike deeply into their cultural routes. What I mean is to degrade their language, their religion, their spiritual and historic reserves, in order to devastate any ability of development, distinction and domination.”
Yet, what is the point of a refuse, given the fact that in the same year of this…refused statement, the government enacted a legislation according to which the inscription of the religion in the identity is prohibited (law 2472/1997, regarding the protection of personal data).
The language, the religion and the History constitute the target of the enemies of our Nation. Our people, immersed into the overconsumption, could not perceive- and still a great number of people do not realize that their spirit is being tormented, that everything sacred and divine in these people is being exterminated, aiming to the transformation of Greeks into a herd, without national and cultural identity!
As you have been informed, the books of History are modified, while important chapters of the bloody path of our Nation are excluded from the list of examination subjects. However, in order to be fair, this systematic and constant effort to downgrade the soul of our Nation is not a contemporary situation and the politicians, as well as SYRIZA are not the only accountable for this problem. And for those who tend to forget, we could remind them the…”historical shows”, broadcasted in the interdependent channels, in which the Greek History had been misinterpreted and brutally violated. Alternatively, we could remind them the history manual of Repousi, during the governance of New Democracy…
As a matter of fact, a debate took place recently in the Greek Parliament regarding the Education. Well, it is important to describe how the current governors, being the genuine descendants of the antinational left wing, perceive the notion of the education. The title of a “Greek-language and intercultural education” defines accurately their aspirations and their objectives.
In the Greek Parliament
I had the chance to denounce this effort for the dehellenization of our Education in the Greek Parliament, without getting a response for the following: ‘As Mr. Prime Minister stated, the Institute of Educational Policy administrates the educational affairs of the country, where Professor Liakos presides. Mr. Liakos, who used to be a columnist for many years at the newspaper “TO VIMA”, where he was reporting the notions he still teaches: that the national consciousness of Greeks is the outcome of the European romanticism during the 19th century, that our national continuation never existed.
Late Svoronos answers to all those left anti-nationalists, and equally the late professor Konstantinos Despotopoulos, who –when this issue had been converted into a source of ideological and political conflict- had written an article where he specified his opinion: “The everlasting continuation of the Greek Nation is testified by the historical reality and it does not simply constitutes an invention of the Greek romanticism of the 19th century”, in order to offer ideological support to “the national expansionism” , as it has been recently carelessly reported. At the 19th century the everlasting continuation of the Greek nation was the subject of debate, because she has been questioned by non-Greeks, not by Greeks. Today, the Greeks question the continuation of Greeks through the educational policies…”
“…In my hands I hold a book with the following title: “History of the Modern World from 1815 until today”, which is the manual of the terminal class and in page 16 specifies that: “The revolution of 1821 is the result of a national movement that had been developed during the last decades of the 18th and the debut of the 19th century”. That is a great lie. The Greek revolution was evolving for four hundred years and numerous rebellions with a clear national orientation took place.
Later it is noted that: “The Greek national movement was also a political movement”. A great lie! Theodoros Kolokotronis responds to these mendacities, since he emphasizes that: “our own revolution is no similar with any other, of those that take place in Europe”, where he obviously refers to the French Revolution. “The revolutions in Europe, against their governances, are civil wars. Our own war is the most fair, a nation against another nation”.
In the revolution of 1821, the Greeks revolted against the Turks, who had enslaved us. It was not a social, marxist revolution, as Kordatos specifies.”
For us, the adherent to Golden Dawn, History is the soul of the Nation
Yet, the anti-nationalists won’t stop to the misinterpretation of the importance of the Greek Revolution of 1821. The government, with a circular of the Ministry of Education, decided to modify the curriculum, aiming to a brief learning and excluding from the examination subjects certain fundamental chapters of our History, such as the Greek colonization, the importance of the Persian Wars, the actions of Kemon the Athenian and the legend of Alexander the Great! This decision provoked the reaction of the Greek Union of Classicists, which of course was not enough to stop this national degradation.
The learning of History is indeed something dangerous and disastrous, not only for the marxists, but also for the liberals. The Great Greece of Southern Italy, our colonies in the entire Mediterranean which transmitted the civilization to almost all of the peoples in Europe, are a bad example. Thermopylae, Salamina, Plataea are bad example. And the worst example of them all is the Empire of Alexander the Great, which made Greece glorious to the known world!
For us, the believers of Golden Dawn, for every Greek nationalist and patriot, who does not view life according to the commerce, the dirty money and the materialism, History constitutes the soul of the Nation, is the essence of the great and infinite Idea of Nationalism.
